Background

Legal Hand, Inc. is an organization dedicated to providing assistance on common legal problems through the efforts of trained, non-lawyer volunteers. There are no fees or income eligibility requirements for our help. We provide general guidance, reference materials, help with common forms, and referrals. Legal Hand volunteers are not attorneys. Legal Hand volunteers and staff cannot provide legal advice and cannot represent you in any legal matter. Legal Hand may refer you to another community organization or legal services provider. A referral to another organization is not a guarantee that that organization can represent you. 

Website Use

You can visit the Website and access some of the content, features and functionality without being required to provide us with any personal information. Legal Hand, Inc. hereby grants you a limited license to access and make personal use of this Website, but not to download (other than page caching) or modify it, or any portion of it, except with express written consent of Legal Hand, Inc. or as otherwise explicitly permitted. This Website or any portion of this Website may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, visited, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without the express written consent of Legal Hand, Inc.

Agreement to Receive Text Messaging

By contacting Legal Hand for services through SMS, you agree to Legal Hand responding through SMS. Legal Hand does not and will not send any additional SMS to you once Legal Hand’s service is complete. Legal Hand does not and will not send you an SMS until you first contact Legal Hand to receive services. Legal Hand will respond to your inquiry through SMS.
